Feedback Module User Guide¶
Overview¶
The Feedback Module allows you to submit feedback, suggestions, and corrections about archival records. You can also submit general feedback about the system.
Submitting Feedback¶
General Feedback¶
- Go to the main menu and click Feedback
- Click Add General Feedback in the sidebar
- Fill in the form:
- Subject: What is your feedback about?
- Type: Choose from General, Error Report, Suggestion, Correction, or Need Assistance
- Remarks: Describe your feedback in detail
- Name and Email: So we can respond to you
- Click Submit
Feedback on a Record¶
When viewing any record (archive item, museum object, library book, gallery artwork, or digital asset):
- Look for the Item Feedback button
- On most records: A green button below the image
- On Library/Gallery/DAM: In the dropdown menu under "More"
- Click the button
- The record name is filled in automatically
- Choose the feedback type and write your comments
- Click Submit
Feedback Types¶
| Type | Use When |
|---|---|
| General | You have a comment or observation |
| Error Report | Something is wrong or broken |
| Suggestion | You have an idea for improvement |
| Correction | Information in a record is incorrect |
| Need Assistance | You need help finding or accessing something |
What Happens Next¶
- Your feedback is sent to the archive administrators
- They will review it and take appropriate action
- If you provided contact details, they may reach out to you
- You can track the status of feedback if you have an account
For Administrators¶
Viewing Feedback¶
- Go to Admin → Feedback (or navigate to
/feedback) - You will see a list of all feedback submissions
Filtering Feedback¶
Use the sidebar filters: - All Feedback: View everything - Pending: New feedback requiring attention - Completed: Feedback that has been addressed
Managing Feedback¶
For each feedback item, you can: - Edit: Update details or change status to Completed - Delete: Remove the feedback (use with caution)
Marking Feedback Complete¶
- Click Edit on the feedback item
- Change Status to "Completed"
- Add any admin notes (optional)
- Click Save
Tips¶
- Be specific in your remarks to help administrators understand your feedback
- Include your email if you would like a response
- For corrections, mention exactly what needs to be changed and what the correct information should be
