How to use: 1. Open a project with linked archival items 2. Click "AI Extraction" in Analysis Tools 3. Select items to process 4. Choose extraction type 5. Submit the job 6. Review results in the Validation Queue
Validation Queue¶
URL: /research/validation-queue
Review and approve AI-extracted entities and relationships before they enter your knowledge graph.
Statuses: | Status | Meaning | |--------|---------| | Pending | Awaiting review | | Approved | Accepted into knowledge graph | | Rejected | Discarded | | Modified | Corrected and accepted |
How to use: 1. Navigate to Validation Queue from the sidebar 2. Filter by project, type, or status 3. Review each extracted item 4. Approve, reject, or modify 5. Approved items are added to the project's knowledge graph
Section 5: Visualization & Analysis¶
Timeline Builder (Project-scoped)¶
URL: /research/timeline/{project_id}
Create temporal visualizations of events and assertions in your project.
How to use: 1. Open a project 2. Click "Timeline Builder" in Visualization 3. Add events with dates, descriptions, and links 4. Events from assertions are auto-populated 5. Export or embed the timeline
Map Builder (Project-scoped)¶
URL: /research/map/{project_id}
Create geospatial visualizations of locations referenced in your project.
How to use: 1. Open a project 2. Click "Map Builder" in Visualization 3. Add map points with coordinates, descriptions, and links 4. Location data from assertions is auto-populated 5. Export or embed the map
Network Graph (Project-scoped)¶
URL: /research/network-graph/{project_id}
Visualize relationships between entities (people, organizations, places) in your project as an interactive network.
Entity Resolution¶
URL: /research/entity-resolution
Identify and merge duplicate entities across your research. When the same person, organization, or place appears under different names, entity resolution helps you link them.
How to use: 1. Navigate to Entity Resolution from the sidebar 2. View proposed matches (auto-detected or manual) 3. Confirm or reject matches 4. Merged entities update across all projects
Snapshots (Project-scoped)¶
